Privacy policy

Effective 9 October 2026.

Cutshed is a static website. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not run the tools on a server. This policy describes what the page can and cannot see.

Media you open

When you choose a file, the browser reads it with the File API. Decoding, separation, transcription, translation, image masks, and encoding happen in that tab. The samples are not sent to https://cutshed.com or to any processing API. They live in memory for the job and are released when you pick another file, reset the tool, or leave the page. We do not have a copy.

What is cached

The vocal model, the background and upscale models, RNNoise, the ONNX Runtime files, and the ffmpeg build are downloaded once and stored with the Cache API, with IndexedDB as a fallback if the cache rejects the write. Whisper and OPUS-MT weights are cached by Transformers.js in the browser cache, and those weights are fetched from the Hugging Face hub. That download is the model, not your media. You can remove all of it by clearing site data for this origin.

What we do not collect

This version does not set analytics cookies, does not embed an ad network, and does not run a contact database. The advertisement boxes on the tool pages are empty placeholders. If ads are added later, this policy will be updated before any ad code is loaded. The contact form only opens your own email program. The message is not posted anywhere by the site.

Logs

A static host such as Cloudflare may keep ordinary request logs: IP address, user agent, and the URL of the page or model file. Those logs are the host’s, not a product account system. They do not contain the contents of your media, because that content is not in the request.
